To Whom It May Concern:
I would like to present my resume to you for consideration
for a position as an elementary teacher in your district. I believe you will
find me to be a dedicated, flexible, and nurturing educator who is well
qualified to provide the motivation and direction students need to successfully
learn.
I
have had the opportunity to teach first grade, second grade, and technology. I
foster an engaging learning environment by utilizing hands-on activities, real-life
connections, and technology applications in various instructional settings. My
classroom is literacy rich since I deliver instruction through a readers and
writers workshop format. I want my students to
participate in high interest activities to develop literacy connections and
allow them the opportunity to thoughtfully respond to their learning.
One
of my greatest strengths is evaluating and meetings students’ diverse needs. I
assist students by researching and incorporating effective methods and
materials, as well as providing individualized and before or after-school
support. I communicate with parents (one-on-one support or through other
methods such as a class blog) promoting education in the home and consult with
fellow teachers on developing successful programs.
I am
passionate about teaching children and establishing relationships with them
that will build self-confidence and growth in their learning. I strongly
believe that every student is capable of learning as well as achieving their
goals and dreams, particularly when they have an educator that fully supports
them. I believe I could make a difference within your district, school,
community, and the lives of your students.
